I love this time of the morning. My three girls are home for the summer. They're either sleeping or reading. It's quiet in the house.
And one thing I love to do after writing and sending this... I have a cup of coffee.
Not an ordinary cup, but one that I add Bone Broth Collagen or Bone Broth Protein....
And I also add COCONUT OIL.
I'm not sure if you've heard of the benefits of coconut oil, but apparently it's all lies and false propaganda according this news story: http://bit.ly/2rxZWKn
In fact, I'm a ticking time bomb for heart disease and a heart attack!!
It may be hard to tell but I'm being sarcastic.
There are a few points I need to address....
1) Cholesterol and saturated fat by themselves do not cause heart disease in the absence of INFLAMMATION. So, it does not "all boil down to cholesterol and saturated fat" according to the story.
2) Medium Chain Triglycerides (MCT's) are good for your Health. MCT's are found in coconut oil. But, as the story reports, most traditional coconut oil is only 10-15% MCT's. Again, that's why you need high quality, minimally or unprocessed coconut oil... just like you need high quality, minimally or unprocessed whole Foods if you want a strong, resilient, Healthy body. Look for Organic Extra Coconut Oil like this one. Ucenter Dress hostess gowns for wedding
3) I have to calm myself down for this next point. (Okay, breeeeeeaaaaathe)
The doctor states if you're looking for a heart-healthy fat to cook with, use olive oil or VEGETABLE OIL.
I'm not getting in to why this advice is absolutely horrible but here are 6 reasons why vegetable oils can be harmful ( http://bit.ly/1NyTw7q ).
Vegetable oils (soybean, grapeseed, canola, sunflower, safflower, peanut, cottonseed) are "unnatural," mess up your body cells fatty acid composition, contribute to INFLAMMATION, are loaded with TRANS FATS, and can dramatically raise your risk of heart disease as well as other diseases.
I hesitate showing you this story because it may confuse you even more.
You're already overwhelmed and confused about Food, Fitness, and Health.
I'm not telling you coconut oil or saturated fat or cholesterol is good or bad for YOU.
I don't know that and you probably don't either.
That's why it's so important to consult with someone who is an expert in Health, Fitness, and Nutrition.
And, you don't have to wait until your body or Health IS in a crisis to make your body stronger, mind focused, or look, feel, and perform better..
